Home to over 16,000 alumni, Washington, D.C. is known for many things: the point of origin for the nation's public policy, the home base for some of the most powerful men and women in the country, and a magnet for world attention.   Located in the Woodley Park neighborhood of Washington, Syracuse has a presence in the nation's capital.  The four-story facility was named with a gift from Paul Greenberg '65 and has been supported by gifts from alumni and friends.

The Syracuse University Paul Greenberg House serves a number of vital academic, alumni and recruitment purposes that opens doors to a variety of opportunities for students, faculty and alumni.

Academic: As a multi-purpose facility with space for classes, seminars, conferences and meetings, the Greenberg House supports activities of every school and college of Syracuse University.

Alumni: The Washington, D.C., area is home to over 16,000 Syracuse University alumni.  The Greenberg House provides support for alumni, fostering connections among graduates and the University.

Student Recruitment: The Greenberg House provides an opportunity for the University to attract and interview promising applicants for admission at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

University Development and Government Relations: In its central location in Washington, D.C., the Greenberg House provides the University with access to the main offices of a number of foundations, corporations and government agencies that offer grants and other support to major research universities such as Syracuse University.

On Thursday, March 29, SUinDC will be hosting the inaugural Greenberg Speaker Series.  A panel of experts will debate the Affordable Care Act on two bases: 1.  Is it constitutional?  2.  Is it good policy?
