Greg Cypes is the director of product at Clearspring Technologies where he leads the product development for AddThis, the largest online sharing platform on the Internet. AddThis is used by over 10 million publishers and 1.2 billion users and helps publishers understand the value of their content on the social web. Prior to joining Clearspring, Greg was the technical lead for AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) for 11 years building one of the largest social networks on the Internet.Doug Smith '98, Market Vice President, KForce Professional Staffing
KForce utilizes social media in multiple ways. Individually, recruiters and account executives leverage LinkedIn to connect with potential candidates and hiring managers. On Twitter, they are starting to utilize "trends" to bring attention to open positions and gain overall influence in the Twittersphere. Additionally, they educate clients and candidates on how to properly utilize these social media tools to gain the upper hand over other job seekers and employers.
